Toured SUNY Binghamton yesterday, and it was pretty good, definitely makes the saftey list. Had a nice Sunday drive up there, and back, and saw some wicked cool stuff in the parking lot. Here’s the pictures. And yes, the 458 was student (parents) owned, and driven.

A stock 240SX? I think that’s the most amazing pic of all!

Who the hell DDs a Ferrari on a college campus? I mean, even if you’re filthy rich, who wants the hassle of the insurance claims, destruction of value, and general hassle of a supercar on city streets?

He DD’s a Range Rover SVR, actually and the X5M is his girlfriends’. This was across from a starbucks where my dad and I were getting coffee for the drive home, and he pulled up when we came back out, breaking up a crowd of people who had shown up in an srt challenger, brz, and 350z to gawk at a college kid’s fezza. It was his parents friends’ car and they got a new maclaren, so why keep the ferrari? It was a gift to the kid for going to college.

I’ve actually seen similar things done (albeit not with Ferraris) as a way to say “Thanks for going to a state school, here’s a token of how much money you saved us!”

Talk about a mixed message... :D
